Sheila E. is a multi-talented, Grammy-nominated musician with over 40 years’ experience in the music industry. Renowned as the Queen of Percussion, Sheila began her career when she joined her father, the legendary Pete Escovedo on tour in 1973. Since then, she has performed and/or recorded with George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Ringo Starr, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Prince, Lionel Richie, Stevie Nicks and many others. Recent releases include two full albums, ICON and ICONIC: MESSAGE FOR AMERICA, an autobiography of her life, The Beat of My Own Drum (Simon and Schuster) as well as several European and U.S. tours.
