LAS LOMAS JAZZ BAND

The Las Lomas High School Jazz Band hails from Walnut Creek and is directed by Brittany Shankle, Instrumental and Choral Music Director. This group performs in at least three adjudicated festivals a year and has won an Unanimous Superior rating on more than one occasion. 

Accolades include individual student awards for outstanding soloists/musicianship, scholarships, as well as county and state level honor bands. Many students in this group also perform outside of school on a regular basis with groups like the California Jazz Conservatory Youth Ensembles, the Rossmoor Big Band, and advanced groups at the School of Rock.

 The Las Lomas HS Jazz Band has not performed at Yoshi's since before the pandemic, and we are excited to be back to share an evening of jazz music with you! Buy tickets now for our show on December 5th, 2023.
