Contemporary jazz meets powerful soul

Doors: 7:30 PM   Show: 8:00 PM

Having established himself in the 1990’s as one of the most diverse saxmen in contemporary jazz during his decade long tenure with The Rippingtons, Seattle native, Jeff Kashiwa’s instincts led him to more dynamic endeavors through his solo career. In 2004, Kashiwa founded The Sax Pack, a trio of saxophone headliners, featuring himself, Steve Cole and Kim Waters.

Los Angeles native singer-songwriter Selina Albright has an impressive way of evoking powerful emotional responses in her listeners. She certainly is one whose voice and spirit pierce directly to the soul and command attention.

In her style, you’ll hear influences of Ella Fitzgerald, Maxwell, Minnie Ripperton, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, and more.

She has collaborated and recorded with Gerald Albright, Peter White, Dave Koz, Rick Braun, David Benoit, and Jonathan Butler. Selina has traveled the world on her solo tours and also shared the stage with a long list of notable artists
