Los Angeles, California – The product of one of the most prolific musical families of our generation, Chuckii Booker was born and groomed for music. His solo career may have been accidental when he passed along his first music demo to the famous saxophonist Gerald Albright’s manager, Raymond Shield. His career as a solo artist began in 1986 with his debut release “Chuckii”. With this came the #1 R&B single “Turn Away”. Following on the heels of his debut album came his sophomore one, “Niice ‘N Wild” yielding yet another chart topper with the classic hit “Games” written and produced by Chuckii and co-written by the late great Gerald Levert.

His career led him to a portfolio encompassing a plethora of prominent recording artists he has worked with at various roles and capacities. Artists such as his Godfather Barry White, Tina Turner, New Edition, Troop, TLC, Lalah Hathaway, Vanessa Williams, Mary J. Blige, Tevin Campbell, Keisha Cole and many more.
