Christopher Williams Singer, songwriter, actor and nephew of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald, Christopher Williams entered the music scene with a bang, as the New Jack Swing movement was rapidly gaining momentum as the dominant sound on the radio airwaves, his Geffen Records debut single "Talk To Myself" from the album "Adventures In Paradise" peaked at #4 on the Billboard Charts, the follow up single "Promises, Promises" once again charted in the Billboard top 10, firmly positioning Christopher as one of the music industry's rising talents. In 1991, he landed his first acting role portraying Kareem Akbar, appearing alongside Wesley Snipes and Ice-T in the iconic film New Jack City. His single from the film's soundtrack, Dreamin’ achieved gold status with sales of over 500,000 units and rose to #1 on the Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Charts. His 1992 sophomore release "Changes" on Uptown Records featuring the Billboard top 10 hits “All I See”, "Every Little Thing" and "Come Go with Me". Christopher's 1995 offering, the critically acclaimed "Not a Perfect Man" on Giant Records, his first album as executive producer, featured the UK hit "Dance 4 Me".
After a lengthy hiatus from recording Christopher returns to the music scene with the soon to be released midtempo groove "Someday", produced by Prince Damons (Dwele). His signature baritone sound and thought-provoking lyrics about the real-life struggles of love, "Someday" is sure to resonate with his now "Grown 'n' Sexy" predominately female audience. Often compared to seminal male vocalists such as Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross, Christopher is excited about the new album he is currently recording, scheduled for an early 2022 release, “…words can’t describe how excited I am for my fans to hear what I have been working on…the time is now, and I am ready to connect with them all as well as meet new ones along the way.”
