JEFF TAMELIER

As an established artist, musician, producer, and educator, I’ve enjoyed playing with and producing artists from all walks of life, including Alternative, Country, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B, Smooth Jazz, and Techno, and been fortunate to have toured as lead guitarist for Tower of Power for ten years and with Mickey Thomas and ‘Starship’, Little Gadget and the Soulful Twilights while endorsing a number of cutting-edge companies like Dunlop, Fender, and Monster Cable. I learned the fundamentals of playing guitar at age 9 from blind teacher and mentor, Jim Phillips, aka “Blindgym,” joining my first band at age 11. In 1985, I joined Lydia Pense & ‘Cold Blood’, a popular East Bay band from Bill Graham’s San Francisco label. Today, I spend time as President of House of Hansen Productions, LLC, where I am responsible for all music production and client services at The Track Shack Studios in Sacramento, CA, and I perform regularly with various artists & bands at venues all over the Bay Area.
