A gifted gospel artist with an angelic voice and a heart devoted to ministry, Sylvia Anderson has spent over 40 years using her God-given talent to inspire, uplift, and spread the love of Jesus Christ. Born into a family rich in musical and spiritual heritage, her journey began at the tender age of five when she discovered her ability to sing. Guided by her father, a preacher and singer, and her mother, a vocalist, she was nurtured in a household where music and faith were inseparable.

She first sang with the Coleman Sisters, under the influence of her father, Willie Coleman, and continued to grow musically, sharing her voice with groups such as Derrick Hall & Company and the Center of Hope Choir. Her remarkable gift has also led her to sing background for gospel greats, including Tramaine Hawkins and Nona Brown, and appear on BET’s renowned Bobby Jones Gospel Hour.

A true musician, she’s sung in concerts, gospel festivals, weddings, homegoing services and private events, further enhancing her ability to minister through music. In addition to her musical journey, she has served faithfully in ministry and is currently a minister at Covenant Worship Center in Berkeley, California.

Beyond the stage, she is deeply committed to serving her community. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and is the owner of a care home for children, as well as actively involved in foster care initiatives—demonstrating her passion for nurturing and uplifting the next generation.

A woman of many roles, she is a devoted mother of three, a loving wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. For over 30 years, she has also worked as a professional hairstylist, touching lives both inside and outside the church, and retired after 33 years from the medical field.

Rooted in Oakland, California, her life’s mission is simple yet powerful: to send God’s love through every song, every act of service, and every life she encounters. Her favorite song, “Because He Lives,” reflects the foundation of her faith and the message she carries wherever she goes.

Darrel Walls is the eldest sibling and eldest member of The Walls Group, the acclaimed four-sibling group celebrated for their distinctive harmonies, musicianship, and progressive sound. A gifted vocalist, musician, and creative force, Darrel has long been an integral part of the group’s unmistakable musical identity. Stepping into his own as a solo artist, he recorded his debut solo project, Heart of Mine, with Grammy-winning artist and producer PJ Morton, earning the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. His breakout solo season has continued with three Stellar Award wins, including Artist of the Year and Contemporary Male Artist of the Year, while his single “ABLE” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart. His solo journey has further established him as one of gospel music’s standout voices. While continuing to bring his unmistakable sound to The Walls Group, Darrel is building an exciting solo legacy of his own.
