OAKLAND SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS

The award-winning Oakland School for the Arts Jazz Program will showcase Latin jazz legend John Santos this year at the historic Yoshi's Jazz Club. OSA Jazz will feature original compositions by John Santos, as well as premiere an original composition by one of our talented alumni, Hannah Meyer. Having spent the year exploring the rich culture of Latin jazz, OSA Jazz is driven by a passion for excellence and a profound respect for the history of music. We aim to push the boundaries of the genre while honoring its legendary pioneers. Our performances combine technical skill with heartfelt expression, inspiring both audiences and fellow musicians. Through creativity, dedication, and a shared love for all music, we continue to explore new musical paths and celebrate the timeless power of this incredible art form.
