Ryan Allay is a Ghanaian-born, San Francisco–based singer, songwriter, composer, instrumentalist, and producer whose sound transcends borders. Fusing the soul of R&B with the pulse of Afrobeats, the warmth of reggae, and the rhythm of world music, his sound is both deeply rooted and universally resonant, with lyrics that depict the core of the human condition, at its best and most vulnerable, as an ode to love and the oneness that permeates us all.
Singing fluently in English, Fante, French, and Spanish, his music bridges genres, cultures, and generations while exploring love, growth, and faith, and reminding listeners that it’s okay to breathe, heal, and evolve, one note at a time. Every melody reflects his belief that music is both medicine and movement, equally art and muse.
Ryan’s debut album, Ellipsis, embodies this journey, a meditation on becoming, belonging, and connecting through sound, and is best experienced through live performances, where his extraordinary vocal range, control, and musicianship cement his place in music as a rare talent destined to leave an enduring mark on the world.
From the coast of Ghana to the creative pulse of the Bay, Ryan Allay represents a new generation of global artists: genre-fluid, intentional, intersectional, deeply and unapologetically human, with voices that not only resonate but uplift humanity at a time when it is needed most.
