Mac Mall (born Jamal Rocker on June 14, 1975) is a pioneering rapper from the Crestside neighborhood of Vallejo, California. Emerging in the early 1990s, he became a key figure in the Bay Area's hip-hop scene, particularly within the Mobb Music subgenre.

At just 15, Mac Mall released his debut album Illegal Business? in 1993 under Young Black Brotha Records. The album, entirely produced by Khayree Shaheed, featured collaborations with Ray Luv and Mac Dre, and sold over 200,000 copies independently—a significant achievement for an underground artist. Notably, the music video for the single "Ghetto Theme" was directed by Tupac Shakur, highlighting Mac Mall's early influence and connections in the industry

In 1996, he signed with Relativity Records and released his second album, Untouchable, which became his most commercially successful project, peaking at number 35 on the Billboard 200. The album featured the hit single "Get Right" and included production from notable figures like Ant Banks and Rick Rock.

Mac Mall continued to build his legacy with subsequent albums such as Illegal Business? 2000 (1999), Immaculate (2001), and Mac to the Future (2009). He also collaborated with fellow Bay Area artists, including JT the Bigga Figga and Mac Dre, further cementing his role in the region's hip-hop culture.

Beyond music, Mac Mall authored an autobiography titled My Opinion in 2015, offering insights into his life and career. As of 2025, he remains active in the music scene, continuing to influence and contribute to Bay Area hip-hop
