Amar Khalil hails from the music mecca of Oakland California. Amar has been honing his craft since the tender age of 11.

In 1998 Amar became the lead singer of the platinum plus R&B group Tony Toni Ton’e after front man Raphael Saadiq left to pursue other musical ventures. Amar's sultry smooth tenor voice and incredible stage presence, was a perfect fit for Tony Toni Ton’e and made him a crowd favorite across the globe for 20yrs.

After leaving The Tony’s in 2018, Amar and a few of Tony Toni Ton’e original band members formed a new group, 3TOB (Tonys Original Band) in 2019. 3TOB produced a riveting documentary “Loyalty No Royalty”.

Lionel “LJ” Holoman is Antron Haile’s Nephew and the newest, youngest member added to the 3TOB (The Original Band) in 2022

He’s a very accomplished organist, keyboardist, songwriter, producer, and vocalist.

LJ has won 3 Grammy Awards (3 years in a row) with Bay Area  renowned artist Fantastic Negrito

He has acquired Platinum and Gold plaques working with artists such as Dr.Dre, 50 Cent, The Game, Mary J. Blige, Nas, Raphael Saadiq, Joss Stone just to name a few. 

Mentored by his favorite organist Carl Wheeler, original member of Tony Toni Ton’e! has made him the musician he is today.

LJ has been accepted and reveled by the other members of The Original Band Elijah, Jubu, and Amar as Little Bro the perfect fit!

He’s played with several iterations of Tony Toni Ton’e!  from 2003-2017.

He is honored to be a part of 3TOB and help propel the legacy of the new band to the fullest.
