Larry Vuckovich All-Stars feature a powerful two–tenor combination: Craig Handy and Steve Heckman heading the ensemble – playing together in a hard driving style resembling past legendary 2 tenor combinations: as Dexter Gordon & Gene Ammons; Johnny Griffin & Eddie Lockjaw Davis, and Sonny Stitt & Sonny Rollins.……
The rest of this exciting ensemble includes the magnificent/energetic Puerto Rican percussionist/vocalist, Hector Lugo, singing beautiful boleros as well as improvising on Afro-Cuban salsa. Special feature: beautiful, soulful singing – rich baritone voice, Jamie Davis – further enhancing this creative program.….
Rounding out the ensemble is the powerful rhythm team headed by pianist/leader, Larry Vuckovich; Belgrade groovy bassist, Buca Necak, and the swinging Jeff Minnieweather on drums.…….
