Fused Frequencies brings together an extraordinary lineup of genre-defying talent, this powerhouse ensemble merges jazz, rock, classical, and world music into an electrifying live experience. Each member is a dynamic force in their own right, with deep roots in musical innovation, education and global performances. Blazing a trail through the modern jazz landscape, Fused Frequencies is comprised of Mads Tolling on violin, Paul Hanon on electric bassoon, alto and tenor saxophones, Frank Martin on piano and synthesizer, Farida Nelson on bass guitar and keytar with our drummer Deszon Claiborne holding down the kit.

At the core of Fused Frequencies is an eclectic band of electric violin and electric bassoon trading melodies and textures in an interplay that is both fierce and lyrical—melding classical precision with wild, exploratory spirit. Lush, atmospheric keyboards weave it all together, moving from ambient washes to searing synth solos with effortless style. The thunderous bass and versatile powerhouse rhythm section lay down intricate, high-voltage foundations.

Each member brings a distinct voice and deep musical pedigree to the group, drawing from backgrounds in jazz, funk, classical, prog rock, and electronic music. The result is a sound that defies categorization—cinematic, groove-heavy, and relentlessly creative. Together, these artists craft an eclectic, high-energy sound that honors tradition while fearlessly pushing musical boundaries. Whether reimagining classic tunes or unveiling bold originals, their synergy and virtuosity create an unforgettable journey for every audience.
