FRAN BOOGIE: KARAOKE NIGHT

In August 2025, Fran Boogie and JB Balingit (Tropa Modern Filipino Cuisine) launched a simple mission in Lafayette: to prove that nothing unites people quite like food and music. Rooted in Filipino culture—where every family gathering is defined by a spread of delicious food and a shared microphone—Karaoke Brunch was born to bring that same soul and connection to everyone.

Now, we’re bringing that inviting, community-driven energy to the world-renowned stage at Yoshi’s Oakland for a special Tuesday night takeover. We truly believe that food and music are the ultimate universal languages that bring people of all backgrounds together, and we can't wait to share that experience with you in this iconic setting.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a "shower-singer" who loves a good time, this night is for you. Karaoke Brunch is an inclusive, high-energy celebration for all ages and skill levels.
