After selling out two consecutive shows at Yoshi’s last year, Ayo has been making waves in the music industry by touring across the continental US, Puerto Rico, Brazil and Cuba! His passion for music shines through in his electrifying performances further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the music industry.

Ayo is currently a senior at Oakland School for the art.  He has been fortunate to learn from esteemed musical mentors such as Richard Howell, Kev Choice, Howard Wiley, and Marcus Shelby.  Additionally, he works with several music education programs including The SF Jazz Allstars, Oak Town Jazz Workshops and The Oakland Public Conservatory.

At age 16 Ayo became a brand ambassador for both Cannonball Musical Instruments and Beechler Mouthpieces. some of Ayo’s accolades include: 2023 San Jose Jazz Aide Fund Award Recipient, Jazz line Institute Young Lion Award Recipient.
